Dixie can do it all, he's a well broke saddle horse, can pack elk, and is broke to drive (pulls well single or double) and drag. He's gentle for even inexperienced riders and has taken countless riders through mountain hunting country and along miles and miles of backcountry trails. We have owned him since he was 2! Now he's 10 and this gentle giant would make a great addition to any ranch, riding program, or backyard. He is easily caught out in the fields, loves people, and is big enough to be a large man's horse. We have used him to foxhunt, run horses, and in every lease capacity we have - he is versatile! He weighs about 1300# and stands around 16hh. He is a super star in our books, a proven horse on every job he's ever had, and a favorite during hunting season.
