'Ransom'
1998 Bay Gelding
Handsome Ransom, he is another one of the Canadian bred bunch that we brought along since they were 3. He's now 10 years old and Ransom is one of Renee's favorites (and every guest ranch he goes to). He has been used as a saddle horse, to foxhunt, in hunting camp, as a pack horse, and in trail rides as a guest horse. He is extremely well broke and athletic (we watched him clear a 6' fence while playing one day!) This is a horse who is gentle enough to take any rider into any discipline they want to pursue. He is quiet and level headed, someone could take him on in the rodeo arena or as a trail horse. We've knocked polo balls around off him and roped and tracked cattle with him. He runs horses in the Horse Drive, and resides in our personal saddle horse pen when he's available. Nice horse. He is about 15.3hh and weighs 1100#.
