With several thousand horses for lease and locations across the Northwest, we have a horse for every type of rider or business. Whether you are looking for a string of saddle or pack horses to supplement your operation or a just few horses to take on a hunting trip or trail ride, we have quality PROVEN horses to suit your needs.

We have gentle, quality saddle and pack horses available for rent by the Trip or by the Season.
Summer Season begins May 1, after we bring horses in from winter range during the Annual Horse Drive.
Fall Season begins after September 1 and ends December 1.
Short Trips of less than 14 days are available year-round.
Winter Lease and Year Long leases are also available.
We also have Weekend Rentals available.

Our horses for lease are best suited for the recreational rider and the guest ranch industry. They are gentle, quiet, solid mountain trail horses that have been exposed to the rigors of mountain trail riding and elk camp and the unique dude ranching environment. We rent seasoned horses with the right temperament. We know both sides of this business and can find the right horses for your individual operation.
Vacationers, Hunters & Trail Riders- Horses are the quickest, easiest, and most enjoyable way to see the backcountry or get your camp in and you to the elk or fish. We offer gentle saddle and pack horses for lease by the trip or by the season. We can also supply riding and pack equipment or wall tents and camp stoves. We deliver to your favorite hunting area or have Horse Trailers available for lease by the day or trip.
Guest Ranches, Trail Rides, Outfitters & Camps - We rent horses that can be safely worked into your operation. Supplement your existing string or lease an entire string of mountain horses that are able to take on the rigors of the dude season. These are seasoned horses that pack or ride and can handle most guests you have. We encourage you to come to the ranch and choose your own horses to meet your demands. Our rates make seasonal leasing an affordable alternative to ownership. This option is perfect for the seasonal dude industry or seasonal horse rider. We reserve the same horses for you each year so you can keep the horses you like and have worked into your program. Best of all, if you do not like the horse we will replace him with one that you do like!

*We encourage you to preview your full season horses at our ranch within two weeks of your delivery.
*Once you receive your full season horses, you have two weeks to screen them in your own operation to further ensure a match.
*Out of state paperwork is no problem with at least two weeks notice, additional fees apply.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Signed Lease Agreements are required to reserve horses, accompanied by a down-payment of 1/3 of the total lease fee.
The balance of the lease fee is due upon receiving horses.

SHOD HORSES: New shoes - $75. Draft Shoes - $90. Sharp Shoes - $120. Full Season horses WILL NOT have shoes. Short Trip horses will be sent with suitable shoes “as-is.”
OUT-OF-STATE: $40 additional per horse leaving Montana. This includes the ability to re-enter within 30 days. Horses leaving Montana for more than 30 days will require re-entry permits – arrangements and cost to be handled by lessee. CANADIAN HORSES - ask us.
INJURED OR DAMAGED HORSES:
Horses returned with wither sores, kidney sores, cinch sores, or malnourished so as to be temporarily unusable - $400 penalty. Death or permanent injury - $2000 per horse.
A security deposit is required. $2000 covers 5 head.
